This month, the contractor excavated the roadway base and set asphalt patches on Governor Nicholls Street, set forms and placed concrete for sidewalks and driveway aprons in the 2300 block of St. Philip Street, and placed concrete gutter bottoms on Governor Nicholls and Bayou Road. Crews began installing curbs, sidewalks, driveway aprons and ADA-compliant curb ramps on Bayou Road and started composite roadway patching in the 1700-1900 blocks of Dumaine Street. The work is part of the $6.3M Treme-Lafitte Group A infrastructure and road improvement project.
