In June, crews installed curbs, gutter bottoms and ADA ramps, as well as placed asphalt on Woodlawn, South Park, Vicksburg and Mound streets. Work also included prepping for mill and overlay of streets as well as removing and replacing driveways on Lemoyne Street.
The project began in February 2020 with installation of new water lines and the $7M worth of infrastructure improvements will improve nearly two dozen streets in the area. In addition to repairing and replacing damaged roadways and patching concrete, crews will repair sidewalks, driveway aprons and curbs on various streets throughout the project area. Work is scheduled to be complete in summer 2021, weather permitting.
