The $1.4M Park Timbers maintenance project on the West Bank has been completed. Pavement restoration and manhole adjustments took place on numerous streets including Yellowstone Drive, Park Timbers Drive, Everglades Drive, Yosemite Drive, Olympic Court, Pin Oak Avenue, South Pin Oak Avenue, Post Oak Avenue and North Teak Avenue.

In May, a $190K improvement project began on Lawrence Street from Sumner to Shirley Drive /dead end. In addition to pouring new concrete sidewalks and a bike/walk pathway on Shirley Drive at Lawrence Street, crews made drainage improvements at Saux and Lawrence streets. The project is on schedule for completion in mid-July, weather permitting.

The roadway upgrade on Homer Street is complete. The $37K project included milling and overlaying the street with a new surface from Hendee Street to the dead end.

Pavement on General Meyer Avenue from Sullen Place to Bennett Street has been restored as part of a $1.5M improvement project, as well as the mill and overlay project on Diana Street from Behrman Place to Numa Street /dead end. The overlay project on Aurora from Norland to Kingston is scheduled to be complete by the end of June.
