Roubion Roads and Streets, LLC has mobilized a construction crew to Lacour Monique Street from Rue Delphine to Rue Colette, and Eton Street from Berkley Drive to Lacour Monique Street in the Bocage neighborhood. The $400K project is scheduled to last approximately 90 days. Thus far crews have marked out locations of established utilities to avoid damage during construction.
The project scope of work includes:
- Removing and replacing damaged concrete panels;
- Installing new Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at appropriate intersections;
- Making minimal sidewalk, driveway apron and foot lap adjustments; and
- Repairing catch basins and drainage.
Throughout the duration, parking may be limited within the construction zone; however, no full road closures are expected. Please plan to park at other locations and expect traffic delays / additional time to reach your destination.
In general, construction crews will be working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday work may happen when inclement weather prevents work from occurring as scheduled during the previous week. Residents are reminded to use caution when driving, bicycling and walking near active construction sites.
