Roubion Roads and Streets, LLC are working on Marconi Street in the $2.8M Lake Vista Group A project. Streets, curbs and sidewalks are being repaired and reconstructed throughout the 20-square-block project footprint. Construction started in June 2020 and is scheduled to be completed in summer 2021, weather permitting.
Heron, Gull, Dove, Thrush, Snipe, Warbler, Plover, Lark and Oriole streets will receive varying levels of road repair as part of the road construction project.
Click here to view a map of all planned work on the project, which was designed by C & S Consultants, Inc. The scope of work varies by block and includes the following types of work:
- Patch Mill/Overlay: Repaving the asphalt roadway from curb to curb and repair damaged sidewalks;
- Patch Concrete: Removing damaged portions of the concrete roadway and replace it with new smooth concrete pavement;
- Incidental Road Repairs: Removing damaged portions of the asphalt roadway and replace it with new smooth pavement; and
- Non-Paving Incidentals: Repairing damaged sidewalks, driveway aprons and curbs within the public right-of-way.
