Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC has completed building the temporary pedestrian access bridge in Joe W. Brown Memorial Park over the north lagoon. The temporary bridge allows walkers, joggers and runners to continue to recreate in the park while the existing bridge is being replaced.
The pre-fabricated bridge is expected to be delivered in the summer and construction on the $1.2M project will be concluded by the end of August 2017.
The bridge is the first part of a larger investment in the Park’s infrastructure. In addition to the bridge construction, the Capital Improvement Program will invest another $1.4M in the park. Patrons are reminded to use caution when walking, driving or biking near active construction sites.
