In September Palmisano construction had two crews working on the project, with one concentrating on the sewer main and water main at Amethyst St. and working south bound. The second crew continued installing new drainage lines and manholes from Ring St. to Jewel St.

The scope of the $4.5M Canal Boulevard Reconstruction project includes replacing the drain, sewer and water lines, rebuilding the street entirely, repairing sidewalks and curbs, installing a dedicated bike lane, and installing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) complaint curb ramps.
