Hard Rock Construction, LLC crews are currently 55 percent complete with the Lakeview North Group A Incidental Road Repair Project in the Lakeview neighborhood.

In an effort to raise awareness and educate residents on proper catch basin cleaning, the City is partnering with various neighborhood associations across New Orleans and volunteers to work together to clear vegetation and debris from around catch basins in their respective neighborhoods. 

Reconstruction of the Wisner Bridge over I-610 is slightly delayed and the detour remains in effect. Construction of the new $19.5M bridge began in December 2015. It was originally scheduled to be completed this spring; however, during construction, the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) determined that the finger joints, which connect sections of the bridge deck together, did not fit properly.

The Department of Public Works is currently working with Barriere Construction Co., LLC to improve drainage on Henry Clay Ave. between St. Charles Ave. and Hurst St.
