Work is wrapping up in the $7.3M Village De L’Est Group B project. Crews are 100 percent complete with roadway restoration of Endeavors Court, Expedition Drive, Beaucaire Street, Cannes Street, and Toulon Street. Water line connections are nearing completion as well as ongoing sidewalk and driveway work.  

Fleming Construction crews, in close collaboration with Sewerage and Water Board New Orleans, began installations and tie-ins of water lines on the Lower Ninth Ward Northeast Group B project in August. Crews have completed water line work in the 1800 block of Tupelo Street and plan to complete all waterline work on Tupelo Street between North Derbigny and North Galvez streets during the month of October. Residents will continue to be notified of work that will impact their access and / or cause disruption to their utilities.

Command Construction, LLC. crews will continue to repave all open areas throughout the month of October on the Little Woods Group A project. There will be no new excavation during this time.

Wallace C. Drennan, in close collaboration with Sewerage and Water Board New Orleans, continued installations and tie-ins of water lines on the Lower Ninth Ward Northwest Group B project in September. While crews continue with water line installations and tie-ins, concrete crews are being deployed to begin forming and pouring back roadways.

The $6.4M Viavant-Lake Catherine Group C project began construction in July 2020 at Industrial Parkway, which remains its main area of focus. The project was designed by All South Consulting Engineers, LLC and is being constructed by Command Construction Industries, LLC.
