The Lower Ninth Ward South Group A  project began in September 2020. This $7.6M project was designed by IMS Engineers and is constructed by Command Construction Co, LLC.

This is a patch, mill, overlay with incidental road repair and work varies block by block to include:

• Replacing damaged underground water, sewer and drainage lines;
• Repaving the roadway;
• Replacing damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons; and
• Installing Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at intersections.

The City of New Orleans hosted a virtual community meeting via WebEx in July 2020 to discuss anticipated impacts to the community. View a copy of the presentation here.
