Beverly Construction Co., is in the middle of a massive project that is currently centered around repairing broken sewer lines and connecting drainage systems from Cartier Avenue to Mirabeau Avenue. The $3.9M Filmore South B project is more than 15 percent complete and is expected to wrap up this fall, weather permitting.

New streets, curbs, sidewalks, and drains highlight the improvements in the Filmore South Group A project. The $4.4M project constructed by Hard Rock Construction Co., LLC covered approximately 10 square blocks stretching from Filmore to Harrison avenues. The new streets will improve the overall quality of life for residents in the area. All work is expected to be completed in March 2021, weather permitting.

Hard Rock Construction Co., LLC is in the middle of a much-needed full-depth reconstruction on the $4.2M Filmore North Group B project by replacing streets that surround the future site of the Mirabeau Water Garden. This project will greatly benefit the Upper Gentilly neighborhood by providing improved drainage and better roads for residents. The project is expected to be complete this summer 2021.

Boh Bros Construction Co., LLC crews continue drainage line placements and installations on the Lake Terrace and Oaks Group D infrastructure improvement project. Crews continue to work in close collaboration with the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans to install new water lines within the project limits. Crews have also begun repaving roadways and concrete pours are expected to begin in March. Crews are currently working on Oriole and Kildeer streets and will continue to inform residents ahead of any work that will involve utility disruptions and / or impacts to parking and access to their street.

The $7.1M Milneburg Group B infrastructure improvement project continued in February with street paving operations and sidewalk and driveway apron installations on New York and Marigny streets. Crews continued installing utilities on Vienna, Mandeville and Spain streets, and work began on Arts Street.
