Barriere Construction crews continued working weekends in order keep the Central City Group A project on schedule. In February, crews continued waterline and sewer line work, in addition to sidewalk and driveway apron restoration. The project is scheduled to be completed in fall 2021, weather permitting.

Last month, Hard Rock Construction Co., LLC crews completed paving work on various blocks in the $6.3M Mid-City Group A infrastructure improvement project. The completion of these areas accounted for 92 percent of the originally contracted paving work. Crews continue street rehabilitation work and are expected to begin sewer line work later this month based upon the findings of recent closed-circuit television (CCTV) testing.

Hard Rock Construction Co., LLC is preparing the Freret Group A infrastructure improvement project for final inspections. Upon completion of drainage and waterline work, the project will move forward with final inspections in March. Residents will continue to be informed ahead of any work that will involve utility disruption and / or impact their parking and access to their streets.

Final paving is under way at the Hagan Lafitte Drainage project with Command Construction currently working to finish sidewalks, curbs and rain gardens sitewide.

Fleming Construction, LLC crews continue sewer and pavement work as part of the City Park Group A infrastructure improvement project. This month, crews are working on Roosevelt and Picheloup Places performing sewer line repairs and replacements. They have recently begun the same work on North Hennessey Street. Pavement work continues on St. Ann, North Solomon, and Stewart streets.  Next month, full recosntruction of St. John Court begins.
