Beginning Wednesday, November 18, 2020, weather permitting, City of New Orleans Department of Public Works contractor Wallace C. Drennan Inc., will temporarily close the intersection and median at Reynes Street and Claiborne Avenue in order to install upsized drainage as a part of the FEMA-funded $5.6M Lower Ninth Ward Northwest Group B project.  

Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020 at 7 a.m. through Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020 at 5 p.m., the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works' contractor, Wallace C. Drennan Inc., will temporarily close the intersection and neutral ground at Reynes Street and North Claiborne Avenue to install upsized drainage as part of the FEMA-funded $5.6 million Lower Ninth Ward Northwest Group B project.  

Beginning on Friday, Nov. 13, the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works' contractor, Hard Rock Construction Co. LLC, will temporarily close travel lanes on several streets throughout New Orleans between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. to accommodate sidewalk repairs. Public safety is our priority; residents and commuters are reminded to use caution when driving, bicycling and walking near the construction site.
