The $7M West End Group B project kicked off construction in June 2021. The contractor Palmisano Construction, LLC is installing sewer and waterlines along 10^th  and 12^th  streets, which will continue for the next few months. Water main pressure testing is planned throughout the area, and the project team will notify residents 48 before any planned water disruption.

With the completion of roadway paving on both 22nd and 30th streets, Beverly Construction crew has moved the West End Group A project into substantial completion. Final walk-through inspections have already began in the completed areas of the project. Weather, the addition of new waterlines and upsized drainage contributed to delays on this project. The work remains close to 90% complete, with an expected completion by fall 2021.

Beverly Construction crews will be working more weekends in an effort to wrap up work on the West End Group A project in the coming months. In close collaboration with the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, Beverly Construction continued waterline work on Center and 36^th streets, with more areas to follow. Work on 22^nd Street is in the beginning stages, with expected waterline work to be complete in May. The project remains close to 80 percent complete and anticipated to wrap up in summer 2021.

In close collaberation with the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, Beverly construction will resume waterline work on the  West End Group A  project this month. Waterline tie-ins are scheduled for Center and 36th streets, with more areas to follow throughout the remainder of March / early April. Asphalt work is set to begin on 14th and 30th streets in April as well. The project remains close to 80 percent complete with a target for an early spring wrap up.  

In February, Beverly Construction crews, in collaboration with the Sewerage and Water Board, began preparation work for water line tie-ins on the West End Group A infrastructure improvement project. This month, crews will begin connecting newly installed water lines to the existing water supply on 30^thand 20^th streets, as well as along Pontchartrain Boulevard.  Once complete, the overall project will be approximately 85 percent complete and on target to wrap up in the spring.
